BEAUTY GRAB | 10 Piece Oval Makeup Brush from Ebay

A whole new different look at makeup brushes! When Artis makeup brushes came out with revolutionary toothbrush looking makeup brushes, that supposedly works best when you apply makeup to yourself! Personally, I have not tried the brand as it is pretty costly. MAC Cosmetics also have their own version but I could not find it anywhere in New Zealand. Best place to go was Ebay! Majority of my tech stuff came from Ebay and I love this website! It is definitely a hit and miss but most of the time I get lucky with my purchases!

Long wait is over especially for New Zealand beauty junkies! Sephora online has finally made its way to New Zealand December last year to be exact! I'm a little late for the hype, but seriously though! For my very first Sephora haul, I decided to purchase brands that is not readily available in New Zealand stores - Kat Von D and Marc Jacobs Beauty

BEAUTY GRAB | Avene Skincare for Acne Prone Skin

Another brand added to my list of to try products for acne prone skin. I know for the longest time, one of the main reasons that I break out is because of constant change of products I use. I did manage to stick to one product for the entire year but I got bored. I did however managed to find that gentle products works great on my skin, therefore I'm only sticking to products that are also suitable for sensitive skin.

BEAUTY GRAB | MECCA COSMETICA HAUL

Before the end of 2015, I did a massive haul to treat myself. I was originally only planning to purchase one thing, but we all know how that goes! With me working all the time and barely have time to go to the actual shop, I paid a visit to their online store which comes in pretty handy! I picked some new products, and some repurchase from the online store.

BEAUTY GRAB: REN Clearcalm 3 Replenishing Gel Cream

Ren Clean Skincare is one of the skincare brands that I have been eyeing for quite sometime. Some of the UK bloggers I subscribed to raves about this skincare brand like no other. I went to Mecca Cosmetica exactly 3 weeks ago to see what the brand's range has to offer. For reference, I have oily/ acne-prone skin with a bit of sensitivity here and there.

MINTY LUSH HAUL

Little shopping spree from LUSH after a long day? Yes please! It's been months since the last time I bought something from Lush! I remember the first ever product I bought was the Karma Kream body lotion which landed a spot in my list of all time favorite moisturizers (read my post here). Another two favorite products are the Mask of Magnaminty (thanks to Nicole Guerriero from Youtube) and the Herbalism facial cleanser. Both of the products worked great on my oily skin and it did help clear out my skin. Anyway, my main reason for my LUSH trip was to find a shampoo that works great for dry and irritated scalp. Ofcourse, I came out with other things!

BEAUTY GRAB: From Gracie Lou Cosmetics

Here comes another haul on Meet Mariee! It so hard not to get sucked in purchasing more than what you need! My main purpose was to only buy a new Beauty Blender since mine is about to shed into pieces. Instead, I checked out with other products thinking I need more products to try and have! I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem.

Beauty Grab: WITCHERY Lipstick & Gloss

About a month ago, WITCHERY launched their new and improved cosmetics line (check here). The prices of their cosmetics are very affordable and it comes in a sleek black packaging which are very sturdy and high quality. I am mainly interested with their lipstick, and the collection comes with 5 different shades from red, magenta, coral, orange, peach. They also have the lip creme pencil which comes in 3 different shades which I did not get mainly because they are warm tones and it makes my teeth look yellow.

THE BODY SHOP MINI HAUL

It has been a few months since the last time I have shopped for goodies. I remember obsessing over Body Shop's body butters back in high school! They are so thick, moisturizing, and they smell amazing! But then products from other brands took over and I parted from using any Body Shop product until recently. I love the Vitamin E skincare range they have and I use the moisturizing mask during winter to plump and rehydrate my skin. And then the Chamomile cleansing balm/oil came out which does a great job in taking my makeup off and is a complete dupe to Clinique's Take The Day Off cleansing balm.

Beauty Grabs: CLARINS Instant Perfecting Touch + Gift Pack

I couldn't recall where I heard about this product, but any primer that fills in pores and smooths the base before foundation then count me in! Normally I would not go for brand like CLARINS, because I feel like they are more focused on mature women's skin. Guess I'm wrong! I have been discovering

Beauty Grabs: ChiChi Cosmetics

After so many months of ignoring this brand, I finally gave in! Chi Chi Cosmetics is an Australian brand available to both Australia and New Zealand. It is one of those drugstore brands that is underrated and never talked about, up until recently.

Beauty Grabs at the Drugstore!

So I was casually browsing at our local department store when I saw the Essence display right in front of the entrance! I got so excited and started grabbing products which were highly hyped by the Youtube vloggers  I follow (Dominique Amor , Karissa Pukas , MissTango2 ). Normally I have to wait till I go over to Australia to be able to purchase Essence products which is available at their TARGET. Well not anymore! Essence is now available at FARMERS, not sure if its nationwide but hopefully its permanent. I thought it would cost a lot like any drugstore in New Zealand which are ridiculously overpriced! but I'm surprised that the price tag is not any different from Australia which made it even better! The prices ranges from $1.99-$10 NZD. Essence goes hand in hand with E.L.F as it is very budget friendly with great quality products. The only difference is that Essence has a very cheap packaging. It does not bother me because the quality of their products are great! Don't judge the product by its cover, you'll be amazed that they perform just as good as any high end products. Cannot wait to play around and maybe include these products in my everyday routine.

Beauty Grabs

It has been a really hectic couple of weeks for me. Working for 4 weeks straight without any day off is exhausting! So to reward myself, I went a little crazy on new beauty products plus these are some products that I have been keeping my eye on for quite sometime! And we could all agree that its every girls' weakness - RETAIL THERAPY.

MAC Haul

Hi lovelies! This haul is long overdue! I went to MAC store (located at Kirkaldie & Stains Lambton Quay) about 2 months ago looking for a perfect everyday lipstick. Of course being a girl, walked out with more than one item as intended! How can I say no to more makeup right? Anyway since it is summer in New Zealand, thought I would go for bronzy, natural products to sport a sun kissed glow. I have a pretty tan skin with a yellow undertone and for me, it is quite hard to find the right shade to perfectly match and complement my skin tone.

Pro Longwear Foundation NC42 $70 NZD
Pro Longwear Concealer NC42 $40 NZD
Mineralize  Skinfinish "Give Me Sun" $56 NZD
Powder Blush "Coppertone" $48 NZD
Mineralize Skinfinish "Medium Plus" $56 NZD

Face products is one of my guilty pleasures. I always like trying new products that gives me a good coverage and flawless finish.

Apart from impulse buy on face products, I also tried some of the lip pies from MAC. I am personally not picky when it comes to lipstick as long as it wears okay and the color pay off is good. I only own one MAC lipstick and that was back in 2005 when I was just starting out on makeup. I didn't really pay attention to it until recently when I purchased 4 new colors! I must say MAC has a wide selection of lipsticks with different finishes and is known to have the best color pay off in the market.

MAC Lipsticks $40 NZD
I have used Pink Pearl Pop and Speed Dial. Out of the 4, Speed Dial and Please Me are my favorite everyday lipstick! If you guys have recommendations, please feel free to comment and I would love to try more products from MAC!

Thanks for stopping by! xx
