What's In My Travel Makeup Bag?

Two weeks ago, I did an unplanned trip back to Philippines for funeral. It was a good as I haven't been home for the longest time, bad because of the reason why I decided to finally go back to visit. I find packing makeup products challenging! As much as I wanted to bring all my favorite ones on board, I have to also think of products that has double purpose since it was only a ten day trip.

It has been awhile since I did this series in my blog. Recently, I have been reorganising my makeup drawers. To my surprise, I found products that I love that I used to love when I was just getting into makeup. If you are a makeup lover/hoarder, you start to accumulate products and get with the trend you forget the products that used to be your jam.

The most asked question I get from work is always about my brows. Some say it's tattooed or fake, others appreciate how defined they are which I both appreciate. Brows is one of the most important thing I could not and must not forget. If I were to choose between mascara and eyebrows? I would in no doubt pick eyebrows! Brows makes such a difference in framing your face. It also comes in different shapes, and thickness so it is entirely preference which one you would like to rock.

BH Cosmetics is one of the great affordable brand that constantly comes out with great quality products at a very affordable price point. Awhile back, BH same out with two palettes - Forever Nude, and Forever Glam. Ofcourse I opted for Forever Nude palette. I just can't stay away from my neutrals.

Buyinvite recently had a massive BH Cosmetics sale, and I purchased quite a bit of stuff! For those of you who don't know, Buyinvite is New Zealand based online store with flash sales from well known brands. 

BH Cosmetics Brush Sets

I can finally say that I am a makeup brush hoarder! I have so many brushes that I can probably live without having to worry about washing them because I will never run out of brushes to use. I love buying makeup brushes more than makeup products, well apart from powders and lipstick of course! It's the best tool you can have when creating different types of makeup looks. At the end of the day, it all comes down to BLENDING, lots of BLENDING! Recently I have purchased 2 makeup brush sets from BH Cosmetics. I have not tried any of their brushes before so this time it is worth a shot. The packaging is very deceiving because of the colorful handles and patterns. It is synthetic so it makes it easier to clean and dry. The bristles are so soft and after washing, so far none of the hairs shed. I am looking forward into trying these babies and see how they perform.
