BEAUTY GRAB: REN Clearcalm 3 Replenishing Gel Cream

Ren Clean Skincare is one of the skincare brands that I have been eyeing for quite sometime. Some of the UK bloggers I subscribed to raves about this skincare brand like no other. I went to Mecca Cosmetica exactly 3 weeks ago to see what the brand's range has to offer. For reference, I have oily/ acne-prone skin with a bit of sensitivity here and there.

Beauty Grab: Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

It took me about a year to finally decide that I need this foundation in my life. Reviews and first impressions I've read about this product are overflowing and all of them are positive reviews! Having an extremely oily skin, I find it quite hard to find foundations that will stay in place through out the day and won't slip and slide. Well I may have found my new holy grail base!

Beauty Grab: ESSENCE XXXL Shine Lipgloss

Lip glosses has definitely gone a long way from shine, glitter, stain, duo-chrome. When I was watching Dani from CofeeBreakwithDani on Youtube, she talked about lip transformers/switch (see video here). This product has been around for quite sometime but was underrated and never a hype. SIGMA recently came out with what they call lip switch and Inglot also has an extensive collection of the same product. Lip transformer is a type of lipgloss that is designed to alter any color of lipstick, giving it a holographic finish. So when the light hits your lips it will automatically illuminate and give it a plumper, fuller effect.

THOUGHTS: Rimmel Wonder Full Mascara

When it comes to mascara, I'm very particular of what I'm looking for. I want both volume and length in one mascara and that's definitely hard to find. I have used all sorts of mascara from high-end to drugstore, and I must say that drugstore mascara wins when it comes to variety.

PHYSICIANS FORMULA: Youthful Wear

I have never tried anything from Physicians Formula before so I thought it is about time. I'm not familiar with the brand until I started watching Tati from GlamLifeGuru on youtube. She talks about the shimmer strips and mascara in green tube in her earlier favorites and tutorials. So after awhile of convincing myself, I finally jumped in the bandwagon. Physicians Formula came out with a bunch of new line including Youthful Wear and Nude Wear line. I got interested in both line because of the packaging! I swear it lures you in! There are two types of foundation in Youthful Wear line, the Youth- Boosting Foundation (RP:$14.35 USD) which is in a squeezy tube and comes with the brush. (for more information about the foundation click here) The second one which is what I purchased is the Youth- Boosting Spotless Foundation (RP:$14.35 USD). This foundation claims to reduce spots, look 10 years younger, 12 hour wear, instant spotless coverage, etc. Judy from itsjudytime did a review on this product and thats what sold me into purchasing it. (for more information about the foundation click here) I purchase Physicians Formula at iherb. Use promo code DBG049  and get $10 off your first purchase.

The foundation is watery and very light weight. But I am surprised with the coverage it gives! I have a lot of active acne, acne scars, and darkspots to cover and the foundation did a good job covering it with 2 thin layers! I would say it is light- medium coverage. I applied the foundation using the Real Technique's Miracle Sponge (damped). It has a velvety feel into it and looks natural. My shade was in medium, I must say though that it's a pink tone foundation but once it oxidize it kind of blends into your natural skin tone. I wore it all day today and it surprisingly kept me grease free. I would recommend this to everyone with any skin type! It is a good everyday foundation with a very affordable price!

Thanks for stopping by!
