THE FACE: POWDER FAVOURITES

From my past blog post read here, I did a full face powder foundation routine which transitioned my perspective towards powders! I used to hate putting on too much powder as it can appear mask looking, and heavy to the skin. With our latest innovations and advance technologies, they have created a powder formula that does not only keep your oils at bay, but also make your skin look more glowy and healthy but blurs out all imperfections giving you the most natural flawless look.

My top favorite one has to be the HOURGLASS Ambient Lighting Powder range. It looks like you're glowing from within as supposed to highlighter sitting on top of the skin. This powder has a very finely milled formula that blurs out any imperfections (pores, fine lines, wrinkles). It is truly magical and it works on all skin types, even for me who has extremely oily skin! It does not give any flashbacks, and it looks phenomenal in photos! To achieve that flawless base, I'm enjoying the bareMinerals Powder Foundation in the compact form. I swear it gives the best coverage without looking flat. It is also the quickest to apply! I like to use my flat top kabuki brush to buff it into my skin. It looks like second skin and I do get a lot of compliments every time I wear this foundation! As of recently, I went back into using my MAC blush in 'Melba'. You might be thinking, "What that's way too light!" but trust me it goes with any skin tone! You can go as heavy or as light as you want but it compliments well with any eye makeup look you rock! A little pink flush never hurts and it is a great way to help you fake that healthy glow! To be honest, I'm kind of over contouring! Atleast for everyday wear. I stepped out of my MAC Mineralize SkinFinish powder for bronzing and tried this Napoleon Perdis Contour Kit. Well lets be real, the contour shade is a bit warm for contouring so I use it to bronze up my face. A duo fibre brush would be ideal to use upon application as the powder is very pigmented and a tad bit powdery. As for the highlight shade, I like to use this my brow highlight and inner corner highlight.

Are you a powder fan? If so, what are your favorites?

Remember, "Always feel BEYOUTIFUL".

Thanks for stopping by!
