Five Pink Lipsticks for October

As we are all know, October is Breast Cancer awareness month where women all over the world celebrate it by wearing pink to support those brave women who have/had cancer. Since I didn't get to participate on that, thought I would show you five pink lipsticks that I love. Although the shades that I picked looks similar swatched, it totally changes when it is applied on the lips depending on your skin tone.

This is one of my most worn lipstick, and it is a satin finish. It is perfect for everyday wear and the shade is a cross between, pink based nude, hint of brown, with a pinch of purple. I have to admit, this is the only color I wore for the whole month of October! This flatters my skin tone best and can be paired with any look.

A berry tone pink, and I love to wear this during winter time. It gives a subtle pop of color, it says matte but definitely not over drying on the lips.

This is close to being overly bright, but a definite step up from pink based nude. It is pink with warm undertone, which I kind of stay away from because it makes my teeth yellow. Nevertheless, it is creamy, pigmented, and flattering kind of pink for others.

Oh talking about hot pink! This limited edition YSL Rouge Volutpe lipstick is in your face! The shade is blue based pink and it makes me feel sassy whenever I'm wearing this shade literally! Just like any other Rouge Volupte lipsticks, the formula is so creamy and highly pigmented! What I also love about the darker shades, it leaves a nice tint to your lips compared to the Rouge Volupte Shine which does not very long in your lips.

The last color is probably the most affordable ones out of five. It is a bright neon pink (it does not come off as bright in this photo) and screams summer! A bit drying on the lips as it is matte but totally fixable when applied over lip balm.

As you see by the swatches, the colors are quite close to each other but if you see them in person, they are totally different! Atleast thats what my mind says.

Do you have any favorite pink lipsticks? If so, please comment them and I love to check them out!

Thanks for stopping by!
Xx

    1. YSL lipsticks are great and very pigmented the only down side is they don't last very long. So if I were to choose I would go for MAC or Lime Crime.
