THE FACE ft. Australis Full On Foundation Stick

The last time I used a foundation stick was way back in college! I liked how easy and quick it was to apply. I can't remember the exact reason why I stopped using foundation stick. For oily skin girls like me, I feel like foundation sticks do the trick in keeping our face less shiny and greasy through out the day, compared to a liquid foundation. It also gives a full coverage and is perfect for those who wants to conceal a lot of imperfections.

I found a great foundation stick at the drugstore and its from Australis - Full On Foundation with SPF 30. This product retails from $20+ and is available at Farmers or any selected pharmacies. I got the shade 'Beige' which has the most yellow undertone amongst five other shades they have. It is 1.5 shades lighter than my actual skin tone but I can get away with setting it with a dark pressed powder and bronzer.

The coverage is insane. If you can see from my before and after photo, I only applied one layer to my face and blended the foundation out with a flat foundation brush following it with a beauty blender for more of a seamless application. I have a lot of redness and dark spots in my face, and it was all covered with just one layer! I also find that it does not feel heavy or cake-y at all. I normally wear this foundation when I do a 12 hour shift and surprisingly it lasted all through out the day, with having to touch up once.

This foundation has become one of my go-to. For the price, it does wonders and comparable to any high end foundations out there. Have you tried this foundation yet? I'm interested to know how it works on people with dry skin.
