Picking a great lipstick that can be worn all year round is kind of hard. Of course you have to consider the season and the trend. A good bold lipstick is always great for winter but transitioning into summer, you can't always rock bold dark lips! What comes into our mind is a good nude lipstick but rocking nudes can be a bit boring! We all want to have that pop color and at the same time not too in your face! I scavenged through my lipstick drawer and found two of my favorite shades that I think can be worn all year round.
First up is 'Plumful'. This shade is berry tone that can be worn sheer or opaque. It is the most flattering shade and can suit any skin tone. This is one of the shade where youtube made me buy! I saw this lipstick from Essie Button, then Vivianadoesmakeup who were two of my favorite UK based bloggers/vlogger.
The other shade I have is 'Brave'. It is one go those hit or miss shade. It is pinky nude with brown undertone, great for my lips but better lipstick! Instead of a boring beige nude which washes you out, I like to put this on to give life to my everyday makeup. I was once a heavy makeup wearer and now that it is coming to summer, I transitioned into wearing minimal makeup, with a hint of color in the lips. Another shade that would be great is also from MAC called 'Syrup' which is a pinky plum shade that would be perfect for everyday.
