Treasure in a Pink Bottle

Skincare is the rarest thing I feature in this blog. Having sensitive skin, it limits my capability to try new skincare products every now and then. So if I find something that works great, I will repurchase it over and over again. Loreal Paris recently came out with new skin care line called the Skin Perfection. I have heard and read so many talk about the Youth Code skincare line but unfortunately I have not tried any of them. I feel like Loreal's skin care line is either a hit or miss. This line has been out in the US forever! Disadvantage of living down under, new product launches are late. 

I was so excited when this hit Farmers around August. First I thought, it will be overpriced just like any other Loreal skin care line, but oh boy! These products costs just under $30 each which is such a great steal!

The formula is enriched with PERLINE-P, a combination of 3 perfecting actives to optimise the quality of the skin's surface: pores, texture, fine lines.

The information from the website is very promising and I'm telling you! The product does work wonders in your skin! The texture of the Concentrated Correcting Serum is smooth and velvety once rubbed into the skin. When you first pump if out of the bottle, you can see a pearly sheen in the cream but totally sips into the skin.  I have to say every time I use this serum at night, by the next day my bumps are gone and my skin is left silky smooth and even. I also noticed after a few days of using, my pores are a bit smaller and less visible! 

Just like the serum, the Correcting Day Moisturiser works as great! First impression from the jar, you would think it is too thick for a daytime moisturizer but you will surprised! It is very gel like and light once rubbed into the skin. If you have oily skin like me, you will love this moisturizer! It does not leave any greasy feeling in your face/hands and the skin absorbs it in 1minute just as what the website says. It is also great underneath the foundation for a even smooth base. 

Over all, I really like these products. It does not break me out or cause any rash in my skin ( for reference I have a very oily, sensitive skin). Highly highly recommend for anyone to try! It has a very slight musky rosy scent to it but not too overpowering! I've been using these products for almost 3weeks now and I'm very happy with the results. If you are suffering from any dark spots or acne scarring, you might need to apply extra product that is targeted towards that problem.
