FIRST

   This is the very first trip me and Jack had for more than a year of being together. It is nerve braking for me as this is the first time I will meet Jack's mom. For me first impression is always important so I have to behave myself and be me. And to top that, it also my first time to be in Brisbane and a first for me to travel on my birthday. Everything is exciting the fact that the weather in Brisbane is way warmer than Wellington! The place reminds me a little of Makati where I spent my last days in Philippines. Clean big city, palm trees, and the beach = paradise. 

   On the first day, Maria (Jack's mom) already planned on what we are going to do for the day. She booked us tickets for a mini circus which was held in Brisbane cultural auditorium (I think that's the name). The show was awesome except when they  lead us to exit due to an electrical malfunction. Luckily the performers went outside to entertain people just so they wont think that it wasted their money. 

 I love this pathway. It reminds me of the cartoons that has similar thing like this and it is a secret garden.

The temperature is around 23 degrees and it is way too hot for me considering that I'm from New Zealand. One thing I love about this type of weather is that we get to use electric fan at night time. I'm shallow and probably weird but I love it! LOL.

Best part was these two cuties, the house guards. They are so adorable and very friendly. It kind erased my fear of dogs. The day was fun and sort of exhausting. Unfortunately I did not take much photos because we are always on the move. I guess lesson learned for me every time is to take my camera everywhere. It is the best way to capture every highlight of the days especially when travelling!
