ESSENCE Sun Club Glamour To Go Eyeshadow

How great are the colors in this palette? It definitely screams summer! I found this eyeshadow palette at the Essence stand in Farmers couple of days ago. Glamlifeguru did a hot or not about these Essence eyeshadow palette and I was excited to see it at the store! I snagged two palettes one with neutral shades, and the other one with pop of color. Since it is spring and I'm feeling a bit creative today, I decided to do a fun look incorporating a pop of color! I know its very unlikely, but it is good to step out of your comfort zone once in awhile.

The palette that I used is called 'South Beach'. It is a fun little palette, with a mixture of golds, warm tone browns, and blues. The eyeshadow palette cost less than $8 NZD and is available at your local Farmers Department Store.

The eyeshadows are great, but there's three eyeshadows that aren't very pigmented as you can see at the bottom photo. Out of all colors, the blue is by far the most pigmented! They are all shimmery eyeshadows and no fall out when applied to the eyelids. I think the colors will show up more when wet which I have not tried yet.

I went for a very neutral eyeshadow look as per usual, perfect for everyday wear. I decided to use a mixture of the light green and dark blue in the inner corner, and paired it with a peachy lip color. I love how the look turned out! It is not too in your face but it adds a bit of something! Obviously, the photo does not do justice in the pop of color but it is a lot brighter in person!

Please excuse my skin, I clearly don't have perfect skin and have been breaking out badly due to stress.
