Now that summer is just a few months away, I try to lay low on wearing lipsticks and opt for tinted lip balms. The pigmentation is just right and it gives a subtle hint of color wihtout being too bold and over-drying the lips. I almost forgot that I did a big E.L.F cosmetics haul awhile ago. Thought I would try they're conditioning lip balm without having any expectations what so ever. The product comes in an acrylic jar which I think is slick, and the texture of the product is smooth and velvety. I'm actually surprised of how pigmented these balms are! Out of five colors available, I got three - a nude, red, and pink.
This color doesn't really show up in my pigmented lips, however I do quite like that it gives a glossy finish in my lips. I love it for lazy days, when I just want to chill out and not worry about being too done up.
If you're scared of rocking that fire red lipstick, I recommend you try this one. It looks intimidating from the pot, but it leaves a nice tint to your lips.
As you can tell by the packaging, this is my most used and favorite out of the three colors. It comes across as barbie pink, but the color complements my skin tone or anyone from light to medium complexion. This is my favorite pop of color to put on as it makes me look awake and healthy.
These balms only cost $3.00 USD, and I'm impressed with the quality and pigmentation of the product! I also find after a couple of reapplications, it does stain the lips which I think is great considering the amount of money you pay for this product! I purchase my E.L.F cosmetics from iherb.com. (use the code DBG049 to get $10 off your first order)
Have you tried any of the conditioning lip balm?
Thank for stopping by!
xx
