My everyday makeup routine varies on my mood and how much time I have to get ready. Most of the time I would reach for the same products everyday. I have oily/combination/blemished skin, so what I look for in makeup is something that gives full coverage, feels light and looks natural. Although I have quite a bit of flaws, I do like to apply very minimal makeup as long as I have defined my eyebrows and lashes, I'm good to go.
Here are the products I use in order:
* Benefit Porefessional- I start by applying this primer on my face. It creates a smooth, even base, minimizes pores, and absorbs excess oil to make your makeup last longer.
* Garnier BB Cream (Medium)- I use the one for combo/oily skin. This BB cream is very light but gives a descent coverage when applied to the skin. The only thing I don't like about this BB cream is the smell and the shade is a bit off compared to my skintone.
* MAC Prolongwear Concealer (nc42) - I mainly use this to spot conceal any blemishes, redness peaking through.
* MAC Prep&Prime Translucent Pressed Powder - I use this powder to set my face and blot through out the day. Works wonders especially on keeping you matte all day!
* MAC Mineralize Skin Finish in Give Me Sun - I then apply bronzer to give my face a little bit of colour and dimension. I sometimes use this powder to contour, transition colour in the crease, or as a blush for a sunkissed glow. It is a very versatile product.
* MAC Powder Blush in Coppertone - for more added bronze effect. If you are between nc40 - nc42 this blush is good for your skinton. Very natural and gives pcolour back to your face.
* Sleek Contour and Highlight in Medium - I mainly use the highlighter to brighten my inner tear duct and nose bridge. This duo is also good for on the go eye makeup because you can use the contour shade as transition crease colour and the highlight shade for over the lid. I like that the highlighter is finely mild and not too shimmery.
* Rimmel Scandal Eyes Volumizing Mascara - favourite mascara that lengthens and volumizes my lashes at the same time. It is very affordable too!
* Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara - I quite like the spider lash look. I started using this mascara for my bottom lashes and it works wonders! It coats every fine lashes I have and makes them look longer.
* NARS Longer Than Life Eyeliner in Rue Bonaparte - This eyeliner is amazing! Last all day and makes my eyes more awake! I use this to line my lower waterline and highlight my browbone.
* MAC Matte Lipstick In Please Me - One of my favourite everyday lipstick when I'm out of work. It is a bit drying so I suggest to put a gloss on top!
