Bound to be TOGETHER

(Long overdue post!)

It's such a good feeling to see your friends happy and madly in love. The photos don't lie on how good they look together, inseparable. My best friend and her boyfriend has been dating for little over a year when the guy dropped on his knees and proposed. I hardly know the guy but judging on the way he treats my girl, I'd say she found the love of her life.

This has to be my two favourite shot I took of them together. *Sigh sometimes I can't help but cry whenever I see them. They look PERFECT!

June 2011- The Engagement.........

The planning of the engagement was such a rush! Everything was unorganized and I feel bad 'cause all what Linda wanted is to have a prefect engagement. They did it in a Cambodian traditional manner where the guy's family have to bring fruits, flowers etc to the girl's house that serves as an offering to the girl's parents. It is my first time to witness and be part of this, so I don't exactly know when and where to go LOL.
Virak, the boyfriend
my lovely friend Linda

Old folks were there to guide the couple but they made it confusing since there's more than one person who is taking in charge of the whole thing! At the end of the mini ceremony comes the barbecue and  I helped prepare for everything which is very unusual for me haha.

the happy couple.
After a few months, the two decided to get married. To be honest, I was so shocked because why hurry? if you can just stay engaged for awhile? But I guess, its the power of love.

October 2011- The Civil Wedding....

The wedding was held at Palmerston North Courthouse which is 2 hour-drive away from Wellington. My friend asked me if I can be her witness since her family can't go and I said yes without hesitation. It is my pleasure to be part of this union. The ceremony only lasted for 20minutes and for that minutes, anxiety and excitement for the couple.

Both signing the contract.

After the signing,

Both of them are putting up a big smile, cant wait to go home with Mr and Mrs title! Ahh I cant believe it! My best friend is married!

Congratulations to the newly wed! And ofcourse after a couple months another good news! I'm going to be an auntie soon. Such a blessing for both of them. After 5 years of friendship, I am now witnessing the new course of life of my dear friend which I will always cherish. I wish her luck and her family. xx
