One of the BOYS

June 27- July 2,2011 Trip to Auckland stopping by Ohakune and Rotorua on the way.

We are ready to hit the road, excited and nervous at the same time not knowing what to expect even if our drivers drive safely. You know police can be picky mos of the times! So anyway everything was ready to go when the other car overheats every 1km of driving! This is so serious! Luckily Isaiah asked is dad to swap the car so we can get going. We decided to head first to Bulls to stop by Sean's grandparents and just meet them there. Its 2.5 hour drive from the city and thank God the weather was nice.
Sunny and Sean both fell asleep due to early call time! LOL
Ofcourse Jack is the driver.
Halfway to Ohakune, the weather changed all of a sudden which is annoying.
After a long 4 hours of driving, we finally arrived to our motel! I forgot what the place is called but we got the huge family room which can house 10 people. Two bunkbeds and one double bedroom.

Here is the dining room.

And mine and Jack's bed.

This place is so dead that there is only a few shops around but luckily there's quite a few restaurants but quite expensive and not in out budget. After minutes of walking, we all decided to just go to supermarket and buy what we need to make dinner. I'm quite surprised how legit these guys are from shopping to cooking which I need to be doing instead!(Shame on me) We head back home and on our menu we have baked pasta, chicken curry with rice, and juice.
Chefs crowding the kitchen.
Since no one can cook rice in the pot, I volunteered so atleast I did something.
While waiting for dinner Terry and Jack are both playing Megajump in ipod touch.

And finally we all chilled in the lounge to watch The Mummy Returns since there is nothing good on tv. Everyone was so full thanks to the good chefs we have in the group. Later that night, they played card games just to surpass boredom then hit the sheets to get ready for another 1 hour drive to snowy mountain to snow board/ski.
