DIY Scented Candles

DIY projects are my favorite to do especially on holiday season. It is fun, different, and lets your creativity put into use. Buying everyone a gift can be a bit expensive and I don't have the luxury to spend more than what I have. Now that we only have one day before Christmas, shopping malls are way too busy and overcrowded. I'm not one who would jump in and wait in a long queue where I could be doing something fun at my own home with comfort.

Random Grab: French Cotton Candle

Couple of days ago, I went to Warehouse mainly to get toilet paper and laundry powder without having any intention to buy other stuff. Well what do you know, I got suckered in by home decor section! Of course I went straight to candle shelf, and found this amazing goodie! It is by Chateau and the scent is 'French cotton'. I would describe the scent as one of those scented laundry powder (in a good way) such as ocean breeze, very refreshing but not to overpowering. Since the candles are up to 25% off I grabbed two of the same kind. The original price was $7.99 and to my surprise it was on clearance for $2! I wouldn't pass on that deal for sure!
Lets talk about the packaging! It is very vintage like and the ceramic ensemble on the lid adds a little something to a plain boring tin!

Did you purchase anything unintentionally?

Thanks for stopping by!
