Thoughts on Indeed Labs Retinol Reface

It's no secret that retinol/retinoid is now becoming a hit in skincare. Not only it is one of the best anti-ageing ingredient, but also it is great remedy for acne-prone skin. I'm not going all science about retinol/retinoid as I'm not an expert or by no means professional. Before indulging to products that contains retinol/retinoid, I suggest you do a little research or visit your dermatologist. I personally didn't know about this until I came across itsmyrayeraye 's skincare routine video. So I told myself why not try it, there's nothing to lose! This product is made by Indeed Labs and is called Retinol Reface "Retinol Skin Resurfacer". I purchased mine from Farmers for $45 NZD for 30ml. It is not cheap at all!

Product description taken from Indeed Labs website, click here:

Retinol, a derivative of vitamin A is considered to be one of the most effective ingredients in helping to reduce the appearance of visible signs of aging.  retinol reface™ contains not one but 3 forms of retinol to help deliver softer, smoother looking skin, while targeting the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and crow’s feet.  Unlike many other retinol products, retinol reface™ is moisturising and non-irritating: no peeling, dryness or redness.

BENEFITS:

tri-retinol formula
smoother + softer skin
non-irritating

According to many reviews I read, they all reckon that you see a massive difference after 2weeks of use. I have been using this for more than 3weeks and I personally don't see any improvements in my skin. Instead, I broke out even more and have small bumps that appears to be rash. However, I would have to agree with their claims of moisturizing and no peeling. I feel like for such a strong semi-concentrated product it actually doesn't make the skin look dull. There is no scent to it and the consistency is very gel like. I guess this type of product is not for me. It may work for other people, after all we all have different skin types. This is only based from my experience. I will continue to use it to get my money's worth but would not repurchase.

Have you tried this product? If so let me know your thoughts.

Thanks for stopping by!
xx
