Street Art

Recently, I have been obsessing with street art (graffiti and murals). Other people say its a form of dirty vandalism but if you really think of it, it's a creative art form where artists use abandoned buildings, parks as canvas. I love this kind of art because of its freedom in space, colors, and forms which is mainly geometric. I even incorporated graffiti in some of my designs. Every street art has different perception from viewers may it be a form of opinion, encouragement or just to inspire other artists. In fact one artist that is known for string his political views through his art forms is Banksy

There is quite a lot of graffiti around Wellington but I only got to take a photo of the ones in Russian Frost Farm. This place is like an office/ gallery of visual artists around Wellington and international as well. They make bizarre exhibitions and the artists are referred to as farmers! Check their website here if you're interested to know what they do.

I like the handrails of the stairs because it reminds me of baroque kind of style.

Mural in the public toilet wall. This is awesome! I would love to have a huge mural like this in my flat lol.

These are just a few things I found while strolling in town. This could be the best reason to go for walk :).
